Dane Mattes is a 2005 graduate of Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN with a Bachelor of Science and Education degree. He also studied in the area of Parish Music with emphasis on service planning, choir, conducting, and organ. Dane currently holds a Minnesota state teaching license and is certified by the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS). Dane serves Our Savior’s Lutheran School as principal and teacher for grades 5-8. His other responsibilities include school music, athletic scheduling, and representing Our Savior’s in the Colorado Lutheran Activities League. Dane also serves Our Savior’s Lutheran Church as an organist, senior choir director, and church council member. Dane lives in Longmont with his wife, Joanne and daughter, Carolyn.
