Christ-Light® published by Northwestern Publishing House
We use the Christ-Light material designed for 3-4 year olds. A lesson sheet is sent home with each student the first day the child hears the lesson. Each sheet includes a color illustration of the lesson, a retelling of the lesson using age appropriate language, a Scripture reference, and some suggestions for family activities.

Happily Ever After published by the Rowland Reading Program
A readiness level curriculum, Happily Ever After is designed to give children the foundation they need to be successful when they begin formal reading instruction. Well-known, beautifully illustrated selections of children’s classic literature form the theme for each of the 10 units in the program. Instruction includes letter recognition, phonemic awareness, following directions, fine motor skills including cutting, gluing, tracing, and coloring, and instructional concepts such as same and different; in, on; top, middle, bottom.

Get Set for School published by Handwriting Without Tears
Get Set for School is used with children the year before they enter Kindergarten. Students learn shapes, pre-strokes, letters, and numbers. Letters are taught through multi-sensory play using play dough, wood pieces, chalk and slate board, and crayons. Special attention is given to proper writing utensil grip.
Daily Sensorimotor Training Activities published by Educational Activities Inc
Use of this movement curriculum insures that specific attention is paid to a variety of body awareness and perception skills including body image, balance, space and direction, eye-hand/foot coordination, and rhythm.

Kindergarten

Each sheet includes a color illustration of the lesson, a retelling of the lesson using age appropriate language, a Scripture reference, a Parent Message, Family Activity, and the memory verse children are learning with the lesson.

Beginning to Read, Write, and Listen published by Macmillan/McGraw-Hill
Through use of a “Letterbook” for each of the letters of the alphabet, Beginning to Read, Write, and Listen is a beginning reading series. The name, symbol, and one sound each letter represents is taught using this phonics approach. Students gain experience in blending the letter sounds to form words and then students move into story reading. It takes four days to cover the material in each Letterbook and then the student takes it home to keep.

Letters and Numbers for Me published by Handwriting Without Tears
Letters and Numbers for Me is used with Kindergartners. Students learn to write capital and lowercase letters and numbers. Students work with whatever letter is being covered in the Letterbook (see above).

Saxon Math Saxon Publishers Inc.
The Kindergarten Saxon Math curriculum is a very hands on, experiential program which develops a solid foundation in basic math concepts including number related work, geometry, graphing, and money.
Kindermusik® for the Young Child, Semester 1 & 2 published by Kindermusik® International
Students are introduced to the concepts, language, notation, and vocabulary of music through use of the Kindermusik® for the Young Child, Semesters 1 and 2 curriculum. Through the year activities include learning to keep a steady beat, reading and writing musical notation, playing the glockenspiel, and development of the child’s singing voice.
