Pastor Michael Traudt

Pastor, Our Savior's Lutheran Church

Pastor Michael Traudt and his family moved to Longmont at the end of the summer of 1992 from Nebraska where he served a congregation which also supported a Lutheran School.  Pastor Traudt teaches catechism classes for the 5th through 8th graders at Our Savior’s Lutheran School and shares God's Word at the Friday morning chapel services.

Pastor Traudt views our school as a valuable tool to carry out the mission Jesus gave His church on earth in Matthew 28:19-20: "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you."  What a great ministry opportunity for our church to teach children true wisdom by sharing with them that Jesus is their Savior.

Pastor Traudt and his wife, Deborah, have three children who graduated from Lutheran elementary schools, two of whom graduated from Our Savior’s, Longmont.
